  10. OVERVIEW
  11. If you haven't enough space at your windows desktop JS Pager 
  12. solves this for you. You can with this program use up to 100 
  13. times more screen space. JS Pager creates a grid where each 
  14. item/square of the grid correspond to a screen surface where 
  15. windows can be placed. You can now run multiple applications 
  16. outside the visible desktop and switch between them fast and 
  17. easily. The program has a skinable interface which gives the 
  18. user total control over its size and appearance. The interface 
  19. contains a map over all desktops and windows where the user can 
  20. move windows to any desktop with a single mouse operation. JS 
  21. Pager can be configured to have different desktop wallpapers on 
  22. every desktop and the user can assign hotkeys or use the mouse 
  23. scroll feature for desktop switching.

  25. NEW IN VERSION 2.5:
  26. 1) JS Pager 2.5 is faster more reliable and consumes only half as
  27.    much memory as previous versions.
  28. 2) Ability to show window icons in Desktop Monitor.
  29. 3) New "Natural skin" - Displays Desktop monitor in a resizable 
  30.    normal window.
  31. 4) Handles docked toolbars when dragging a window by the title 
  32.    bar in combination with Mouse Scroll.
  33. 5) Mouse Scroll is disabled when a mouse button is down, except 
  34.    when dragging a window. (Facilitate using a scroll bar in 
  35.    maximized windows).

  37. FIXED BUGS:
  38. 1) JS Pager now remembers and resets the active window in each 
  39.    desktop.
  40. 2) It's now possible to drag a window by the title bar to any nearby
  41.    desktop using the Mouse Scroll without any problems, even with 
  42.    toolbars docked around the desktop.  
  43. 2) Handles frozen windows when "Hide invisible windows from taskbar"
  44.    is turned on.
  45. 3) Exception on system shut down when JS Pager was running, fixed.
  46. 4) The Send To Menu introduced in v2.4 caused problems on some 
  47.    systems. This feature now turns completely off when it's unchecked
  48.    in the options window. If you had compatibility problems with v2.4
  49.    but not with v2.3, this version will work fine for you with the 
  50.    Send To Menu turned off.
  51. 5) The coordinates of JS Pager is now displayed as (row,col) rather 
  52.    than (x,y). It's more correct to name the desktops as the items 
  53.    in a matrix instead of as a point in a coordinate space. 
  54. 6) Plus some other minor bug fixes. (This version is much more stabile
  55.    than v2.4).

  81. IMPORTANT FIXED BUGS FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS:
  82. 1) In version 2.1 windows occasionally got lost. This bug was 
  83.    fixed in version 2.2.
  84. 2) In versions earlier than 2.3, a frozen window caused JS Pager 
  85.    to freeze. Version 2.3 and later can handle up to 16 frozen 
  86.    windows and JS Pager will never freeze itself. 
  87. 3) Taskbar is now sticky by default.
  88. 4) Previous version sometimes shuffled the windows Z-order when 
  89.    "hide invisible windows from taskbar" was activated. This 
  90.    should not happen in this version.
  91. 5) Version 2.4 always saves your settings when JS Pager is 
  92.    terminated.

  94. INSTALLATION: 
  95. Unzip to a temporary folder and run the setup program JSP2.exe.

  97. UNINSTALL:
  98. Go to Control panel/"add/remove software" and choose JS Pager 
  99. Virtual Desktop.

  101. IMPORTANT:
  102. Backup the data at your desktop before using the "Icon Desktops" 
  103. in combination with Active Desktop. Lost files have been 
  104. reported but I havenÆt been able to reconstruct the error so I 
  105. would appreciate to receive any information about this problem.

  108. This program is freeware.
  109. The only thing I require is to receive e-mail from you. You can 
  110. copy the program to your friends as long as you don't change the 
  111. program or charge anything for it without my permission. I take 
  112. no responsibility for data losses or damage caused by JS Pager.
